The Section for Agriculture has established a scholarship to help young people attend our movement's annual gathering at the Goetheanum and hold a contribution.
Young people worldwide are shaping the future of biodynamic agriculture, often under challenging conditions, particularly in low-income regions. In addition to a lack of recognition for their work with the land, they frequently face financial barriers and limited access to knowledge, including biodynamic research and spiritual science. Although biodynamics is growing rapidly on the African, Asian, and American continents, those working in farms and communities have to undertake the greatest efforts. It is important that these young pioneers are supported so that the ideas of the Agriculture Course are carried forward and come to fruition in the next generation.
Therefore, the Section for Agriculture has established a scholarship to help young people attend our movement's annual gathering at the Goetheanum. For many participants, this conference has been a life-changing experience, inspiring ongoing engagement with the Section and spreading new ideas to their local communities. Last year's scholarship recipients, for example, remained deeply involved, contributing articles, supporting education and research, and bringing insights back home.
We believe the conference provides lasting inspiration and connections, making these scholarships a worthy investment for the future of our movement.
Who Can Receive a Conference Scholarship?
Individuals up to 35 years old who are active in the biodynamic movement and who demonstrate initiative to carry the ideas from the Agriculture Course forward into the next generation. Scholarship recipients ideally have the potential to bring the conference's impulses back into their local communities. They also hold a contribution at the conference and write a report following their participation. The intention is to support those who have not taken part in the Agriculture Conference before and who do not have the means to participate without the financial assistance that the Scholarship provides.
How are Candidates Selected?
Scholarship candidates are recommended through the local biodynamic movement in the respective countries or regions, for example through a local Biodynamic Association.
How Can I Sponsor a Scholarship?
If you would like to make a contribution to the scholarship fund, we warmly welcome your donation. Every contribution directly benefits the scholarship recipients without any deductions. By supporting a conference scholarship, you help make the Agricultural Conference a source of inspiration for the next generation and enable scholarship recipients to spread the ideas and inspirations further into the world.
Scholarships can be sponsored at any time. Please indicate the following as the purpose of your donation: Conference Scholarship.
